fall cards

I LOVE fall!! I love the colors, the layering of clothing, the crisp feeling out side, apple picking...I could go on and on! haha. Anyways, I also love to make fall cards. Here are 4 cards that I have made:

Left to right: Autumn card with the leaf from Gypsy Wanderings (I'm 99% sure) the inside of this card has some fall leaves from Michaels. & a stamp from studio G $1 stamps, mini bat card with Wicked Halloween Stampin' Up' stamps (also embossed) Both turkeys are from Create A Critter. The papers are from Stampin' Up & the patterned papers are from random patterned packs from Michaels.

Fall cards are so much fun to make! I hope that everyone has a great start to fall. I started my fall out by being sick :o( But hopefully I will get over it fast and it will be over for the year!

2 years!!

Hi!
My husband & I just had our 2 year anniversary. We both had to work & John just got back from a weekend long gofl outing with his friends, but it was a great night. John made me an AMAZING dinner! He made fresh salmon, potatoes w/ green beans, rolls, shrimp cocktail, & wine. He also made me a card! He got into my scrapbook stuff and gave it one heck of a try! haha. He had the card, candles & flowers on the table for dinner. He is great! Here is a pic:

Halloween card

This morning I had an itch to make a Halloween card, so I did. Here are some pix:
I used All Stampin' Up products in this card, except for the white paper, I don't know what brand that is.
The base is Concord Crush purple, dark orange is really the Cajun Red. The stamps are from the Wicked Halloween stamp set. I used some stickles on the spider web and the inside word, Spooky to make is pop a little bit. I also used some markers to color the witch to give that a little more as well.

I got this idea from a demo card at a stampin' up party. I love this stamp set!

Gypsy!!

I ordered a Provo Craft Gypsy on Tuesday & I got it yesterday (Thursday)!!! I did pay for the 2 day shipping. I got it from Custom Crops.com. They had a pretty good deal & I have ordered from them before so I know they are real. Ebay had some a lot less, but I was too scared to order from ebay. I would get am empty box or something! haha, Anyways, I have it & I have played with it. It's pretty cool. I am only have trouble linking one cartridge, the Celebrate Flourish Lite cart. I did some research, & no one can link it yet. So I will wait for the update to allow that cart. to link. One of my girl friends & I are going to share carts now that I can upload them and she can have the cartridge. I have not plugged it into the expression yet to try that, but I will soon. I really wanted to make a video opening the gypsy, but I had to come home @ lunch time and get the package & I opened it at work, so I couldn't do a video, ahah. I will do one soon.

Thanks for reading!!

My First Stampin' Up Party

Today was my first Stampin' Up party. It was a great success! I joined a group of great ladies that already had a Stampin' Up group. We decided to each have a party every month & I was first. I was kinda nervous about how well it would turn out, but it was great! I get a lot of free products and I love hanging out with them.

My sister and her family came down from Mich. this weekend to hang out. They have never been down here, so it was fun to show them around where we live & work. We went to the Cleveland Zoo & played cards. It was a great time.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. It's back to the grind tomorrow. :o)

Back to School Goodie Bag

I created back to school goodie bags for my nephews this morning. I made a video, but I am not sure when I will get that up. I have to figure out how to edit 2 videos together because I messed up half way through the video! Oh well, I do have pictures though:

The apple is from the Cricut Lite cartridge from Wal*Mart Celebrate with Flourish. I used all of the layers except the shadow of the entire apple. I cut some dark green card stock and folded it is half, stapled it to the bag and put the lighter brown mat on top so you couldn't see the staples. Then I glued the apple on top of the mat. I will put the boys names on each of their bags and maybe some other type of "bling".
Inside of the bags are things from Walmart & the Dollar Tree. I have scissors, colored pencils, erasers, pencils, a glue stick & some army men just for fun!

HERE are my videos on this.
